University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics Begin to Perform POEM for Achalasia

University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics physicians have begun to perform per-oral endoscopic myotomy for patients with achalasia, according to a report by The Daily Iowan.

University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics are the first providers in the state and one of 22 centers in the U.S. to offer POEM, according to the report.
