Pranav Periyalwar, MD, joined University Hospitals Conneaut (Ohio) Medical Center and University Hospitals Geneva (Ohio) Medical Center, according to a Star Beacon report.

Here are four facts:

1. Dr. Periyalwar focuses on gastrointestinal disease, colonic neoplasia, endoscopy and liver disease.

2. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

3. He is an assistant professor of medicine at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland.

4. Dr. Periyalwar completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.
