1. The AGA created the Future Leaders Program in 2015 to identify early career gastroenterologists who have potential.
2. The AGA provides those selected with a pathway to support the gastroenterology profession, advance their careers, connect with mentors and develop leadership skills.

- Matthew A. Ciorba, MD. Assistant Professor of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis;
- Katherine S. Garman, MD, Assistant Professor of Medicine at Durham, N.C.-based Duke University Medical Center;
