St. Luke’s Institute of Digestive & Liver Disease to Host International Symposium

St. Luke’s Institute of Digestive and Liver Disease in the Philippines will host the Liver and Gastroenterology International Symposium from June 1 to 2, according to a GMA News Online report.

The symposium will cover several issues including GI bleeding, Barrett’s Esophagus, colon cancer screening, pancreatitis, eosinophilic esophagitis and gastrointestinal stromal tumors.

Lino Guzman, MD, of Loma Linda (Calif.) University; Robert Gish, MD, of the University of California San Diego Medical Center and Patrick Kamath, MD, and W. Ray Kim, MD, both of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., will be among the symposium’s speakers.
