SSM Health building pediatric multispecialty facility, GI included — 3 insights

St. Louis-based SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital will break ground on a $9 million pediatric healthcare center in St. Louis, the St. Louis Business Journal reports.

Here’s what you should know:

1. The facility will be 15,000 square feet, and administrators anticipate a fall 2019 grand opening.

2. Facility physicians will offer endocrinology, gastroenterology, neurology, sports medicine, optometry, orthopedics and therapy services.

3. SSM is developing the facility to replace its Crestwood, Mo., facility.
