Premier Gastroenterology Associates transforming Kmart into practice — 5 insights

Little Rock, Ark.-based Premier Gastroenterology Associates partnered with real estate company Newmark Moses Tucker Partners of Little Rock to turn a closed Kmart shopping center into its new practice.

Here’s what you should know:

1. Premier Gastroenterology Associates will lease the entire 45,000-square-foot facility.

2. Premier is owned by seven gastroenterologists.

3. NMTP President and CEO Chris Moses said the building will be completely renovated, and the Kmart will be “unrecognizable.”

4. Premier’s facility will anchor Premier Medical Plaza. The plaza will be more than 100,000 square feet, with a variety of tenants providing medical and surgical services.

5. Tenants will begin occupying the space in mid-2019.
