SeraCare Life Sciences Names Dr. Jack Wands to Science Advisory Board

SeraCare Life Sciences, a provider of biological products, has named gastroenterologist Jack Wands, MD, as the founding member of its Science Advisory Board, according to a Boston Business Journal report.

Dr. Wands is a professor gastroenterology and medical science at Brown Medical School in Providence, R.I. He is also the founder of the Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University Liver Research Center.

The advisory board is designed to bring together leaders in research areas such as genome sequencing, autoimmune disease and clinical oncology.
