Schneck is giving out the kits in March for Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month. The kits test for hidden blood in stool, a possible sign of colorectal cancer.

Free coloCARE kits are available at:

  • Schneck Primary Care in Seymour and Brownstown, Ind.
  • Schneck Endoscopy Center at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour
  • Schneck Family Care in North Vernon, Scottsburg and Salem, all in Indiana

CRC is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the U.S., but 90 percent of colorectal cancer cases are curable if caught early.
