Gastroenterologists are among the top five highest earning specialties, according to the 2023 Medscape "Gastroenterologist Compensation Report," published May 24.

Geneva, Ala.-based Wiregrass Medical Center is the least expensive hospital to receive a colonoscopy, according to information from data analytics company Hospital Pricing Specialists.
