Norton Healthcare first in Kentucky to offer Cologuard

Norton Healthcare, based in Louisville, Ky., has become the first Kentucky healthcare system to offer the non-invasive stool-based colorectal cancer screening test Cologuard, according to a WHAS 11 abc news report.

“Norton Healthcare is proud to be the first health care provider in Kentucky to offer this important new advance that can help increase screening for colon cancer,” said Thomas M. Woodcock, MD, an oncology specialist with Norton Cancer Institute, according to the report.
