New Type of Irritable Bowel Syndrome Identified

Researchers at the University of California Los Angeles have identified a new form of irritable bowel syndrome that is spurred by acute bouts of diverticulitis, according to a Health Canal report.

The new condition, post-diverticulitis irritable bowel syndrome, causes patients to experience recurrent abdominal pains, cramping and diarrhea after their original DV has been treated.
