The online community can be accessed through TheGIConnection’s website, the IBD Support Foundation’s website and practices – such as GastroHealth Miami – that use the application on their websites. The IBD Support Foundation moderates the community.

“Individuals with IBD and their caregivers need ongoing access to support — not just during a brief office visit with their physician, but when they go home and conduct ongoing research to learn about their condition. They need help during sleepless nights as well as busy days,” said Charles Weaver, MD, founder and CEO of OMNI Health Media.

OMNI Health Media also offers other disease-focused online communities including CancerConnect, theRAConnetion and Kintalk.
