New Medical Complex for TX’s University General Health System to Include Endoscopy Lab

University General Health System has announced it is building a new medical complex in Pearland, Texas, that will include an endoscopy lab, according to a news release.

In addition to the endoscopy lab, the complex is anticipated to include a 50-bed general acute care hospital, a full-service 10-bed emergency room and an 8-bed intensive care unit, four operating rooms and a cardiac catheter lab.

 

UGHS, which is headquartered in Houston, hopes to begin construction on the new complex in 2013. It will be named University General Hospital – Pearland.
