New Facility for NC’s Southeastern Regional Medical Center to Include GI Center

Southeastern Regional Medical Center, based in Lumberton, N.C., has announced it is building a new medical facility that will include a gastroenterology center, according to a news release.

The 60,000-square-foot facility — Southeastern Health Park Phase I — is expected to cost upwards of $19.5 million and will be built in Lumberton.

 

In addition to the GI center, plans for the facility include an ambulatory surgery center, orthopedic center, anesthesia/pain management center and outpatient rehabilitation.

 

Construction is expected to begin this fall.
