Lumendi adds two executives: 3 things to know

Connecticut-based medical device developer Lumendi added James Soares as its vice president of sales and Yukio Nakajima as its new senior director of business development.

Here’s what you should know.

1. Mr. Soares has more than 35 years of sales, marketing and commercializing medical device experience.

He was a senior executive with Center Valley, Pa.-based Olympus for the last 27 years.

2. Mr. Nakajima has more than 30 years of experience in the gastroenterology-facing medical device field. He most recently was the managing director of a full service medical device consulting company.

3. Lumendi’s CEO Peter Johann, MD, said the hires will help the company launch its DiLumen Endolumenal Interventional Platform.
