Nashua-based Southern New Hampshire Health appointed gastroenterologist Timothy Scherer, MD, its new CMO of Southern New Hampshire Medical Center in Nashua, effective April 4.

New York City-based Mount Sinai Hospital pediatric gastroenterologist Marla Dubinsky, MD, and Charles Bernstein, MD, of Winnipeg, Manitoba-based University of Manitoba, are giving a presentation on inflammatory bowel disease at Montreal, Canada-based Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre, The Suburban reports.

Indianapolis-based IU Health gastroenterologist Jean Molleston, MD, oversaw a liver transplant surgery on a 1-year-old child, WTHR reports.
