Illinois Surgeons Perform 1,000th Bariatric Surgery

Christopher Joyce, MD, and Brian Lahmann, MD, of Joliet, Ill., performed their 1,000th gastric band surgery this month at Silver Cross Hospital, placing them among the top 1 percent of surgeons performing this procedure, according to a report in The Herald-News.
