As he opened the 2018 AMA Annual Meeting, June 9 to June 13 in Chicago, American Medical Association President David O. Barbe, MD, recognized Elgin-based Illinois Gastroenterology Group’s Larry Kosinski, MD, and several others for their efforts to “move medicine.”

Minneapolis-based Hennepin Healthcare partnered with Cantel Medical to install the nation’s first Advantage Plus Pass-Thru Automated Endoscope Reprocessor.

Three more sexual assault suits were filed against former Charleston, W.Va.-based gastroenterologist Steven Matulis of Charleston Gastroenterology Associates.
