Dr. Blumofe, who is also a member of Delray Medical Center’s staff, said she is working closely with Allergan representatives to add a lap-band program to the hospital. She also started a lap-band surgery program in 2008 at a hospital in Beloit, Wis.
Dr. Blumofe’s practice specializes in laparoscopic and general surgery, according to the report.
