Illinois Gastroenterology Group was formed in 2010 through the merger of three practices.
Since then the group has grown substantially through the addition of three other practices. IGG is the largest single-specialty gastroenterology group in Illinois with more than 40 providers.
IGG is highly active in both the clinical and research aspects of gastroenterology.
The group played a pivotal role in the development of Project Sonar, a gastroenterology-facing alternative payment model.
