GI physician leader to know: Dr. Will Fecht of Indiana Gastroenterology

Will J. Fecht, MD, joined Indiana Gastroenterology in Indianapolis in July 2005. He is a member of American Gastroenterological Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Fecht is board certified in internal medicine as well as gastroenterology and hepatology. He has a professional interest in treatments for non-alcoholic fatty liver diseases, viral hepatitis, cirrhosis, inflammatory bowel disease and preventive medicine. He has expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and capsule endoscopy.

Dr. Fecht earned his medical degree from the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis. He completed his internal medicine residency at Butterworth Hospital, affiliated with Michigan State University in Grand Rapids. He completed his gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at St. Louis University School of Medicine.
