GI physician leader to know: Dr. Srinivas Seela of Digestive and Liver Center of Florida

Srinivas Seela, MD, practices with Digestive and Liver Center of Florida in Orlando. In addition, he is an assistant professor at the University of Central Florida School of Medicine and is also a teaching attending physician at both the Florida Hospital Internal Medicine Residency and Family Practice Residency (MD and DO) programs.

Dr. Seela is a member of the member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases and Crohn’s Colitis Foundation. He has a professional interest in advanced and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, colorectal cancer screening, gastroesophageal reflux disease as well as metabolic and other liver disorders.

Dr. Seela earned his medical degree at Spartan Health Sciences University in St. Lucia. He completed his residency at University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington. He completed his gastroenterology fellowship at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn.
