Dr. Sheehan has previously served as an associate professor at Sonny Montgomery Veterans Administration Medical Center’s School of Medicine in Jackson. His clinical interests include acid reflux disease, constipation, hepatitis C and irritable bowel syndrome. His work has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Digestive Diseases and Sciences, Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Gastroenterology.
Dr. Sheehan earned his medical degree at Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in Hershey. He completed his residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation and his fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn.
