Dr. Chumley has a professional interest in therapeutic endoscopy for hepatobiliary, pancreatic and sphincter of Oddi disorders. He also has extensive expertise in treating patients with Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis and refractory gastroesophageal reflux disease. He has previously co-chaired the ACG’s National GI Carrier Advisory Committee, which oversees federal Medicare payment issues.
Dr. Chumley earned his medical degree at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where he also completed an internal medicine residency and a gastroenterology fellowship.
