GI Logic receives FDA approval for AbStats System: 4 notes

GI Logic has received FDA 510(k) clearance for the AbStats System.

Here are four notes:

1. The AbStats System can be used for non-invasive, real-time telemetry of the digestive system.

2. The system consists of two AbStats Vibratory Sensors placed on the abdomen and the AbStats Telemetry Monitor.

3. The monitor allows care providers to see digestive signals as they occur and evaluate the rate of digestive activity after a surgery.

4. Healthcare professionals can base postoperative feeding protocols on this objective data.
