Here are three gastroenterologists who made headlines over the past week for leadership moves and industry honors.

West Georgia Health, based in LaGrange, has given out a “Physician of the Year” award annually since 2007, and this year, gastroenterologist Robert Coggins, MD, received the honor.

Donald Trump released a letter from his personal physician Harold Bornstein, MD, a gastroenterologist practicing in New York.

DuPage Medical Group, based in Downers Grove, Ill., added Niraj Ajmere, MD, to its team.
