GI leader to know: Dr. Tsion Abdi of Johns Hopkins Medicine

Tsion Abdi, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Dr. Abdi specializes in gastroenterology and hepatology.

She earned her medical degree from Washington, D.C.-based Georgetown University. She stayed at the university for her residency and completed her fellowship at Yale/New Haven (Conn.) Hospital.

The American Board of Internal Medicine certified Dr. Abdi in gastroenterology.

She is a member of several professional societies including the American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and American Medical Association.
