He earned his medical degree from Karachi, Pakistan-based Dow Medical College. He completed his internship and residency at New York City-based Bronx Lebanon Hospital.
The American Board of Internal Medicine certified Dr. Anwer in gastroenterology.
He previously served as the chief of staff at Celebration (Fla.) Health.
