GI leader to know: Dr. Ronald Hauptman of Arizona Digestive Health

Ronald Hauptman, MD, is a gastroenterologist with Phoenix’s Arizona Digestive Health.

Dr. Hauptman subspecializes in colonoscopies, capsule endoscopy and upper GI endoscopy disease.

His career began after he earned his medical degree from Milwaukee’s the Medical College of Wisconsin. He completed a residency at the University of Arizona in Tucson and a fellowship at UC Irvine.

Dr. Hauptman is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

He is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Hauptman has been published several times in the American Journal of Gastroenterology. He was recognized as one of America’s Top Physicians.
