Dr. Gutta is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in gastroenterology and internal medicine.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit. He completed a residency and fellowship at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic before he pursued additional training in therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas.
Dr. Gutta is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Gutta enjoys reading, golf and tennis.
