He is also co-director of the inflammatory bowel diseases center at Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center. He established a gut microbial transplant program at the hospital and conducts clinical research on mucosal immunology.
Dr. Arsenescu earned his medical degree from the University of Tirgu-Mures Faculty of Medicine in Romania.
