GI leader to know: Dr. Razvan Arsenescu of the Atlantic Health System

Razvan Arsenescu, MD, PhD, is chief of the Atlantic Digestive Health Institute in Morristown, N.J.

He is also co-director of the inflammatory bowel diseases center at Morristown (N.J.) Medical Center. He established a gut microbial transplant program at the hospital and conducts clinical research on mucosal immunology.

Dr. Arsenescu earned his medical degree from the University of Tirgu-Mures Faculty of Medicine in Romania.
