Dr. Berookim specializes in colorectal cancer prevention, GERD and Barrett’s Esophagus among others.
His career began after he earned his medical degree from UCLA. He completed a residency at Los Angeles’ Charles Drew University, and a fellowship at UCLA.
Dr. Berookim is a fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology and is double board certified by the American Board of Gastroenterology and the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He has received several honors in his career.
Outside of his professional career, Dr. Berookim is married with a toddler.
