GI leader to know: Dr. Paul Anderson of the Oregon Clinic

Paul Anderson, MD, is a gastroenterologist at the Oregon City-based Oregon Clinic.

He specializes in colon cancer screening and prevention, gastroesophageal reflux disease and inflammatory bowel disease.

Dr. Anderson’s career began after he earned his medical degree from the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed a residency at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., before he had a fellowship at the Oregon Health & Science University in Portland.

Dr. Anderson is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Outside of his professional career, Dr. Anderson is a long-distance runner who enjoys woodworking, skiing and hiking. He lives in Portland with his wife, two daughters and “rambunctious labradoodles.”
