Dr. Kocab also serves as the endoscopy department director for Bradington, Fla.-based Manatee Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the hospital’s medicine committee.
He earned his medical degree from Rootstown-based Northeastern Ohio University. He completed his internship and residency at the Akron (Ohio) General Medical Center and his fellowship at Tampa-based University of South Florida.
Dr. Kocab received several honors throughout his career including: serving on the Janssen World Congress Scholarship Fellow World Congress of Gastroenterology in Vienna, Austria in 1998. Northeastern Ohio University also wrote him a letter of commendation in 1992.
