After earning his medical degree from Seattle-based University of Washington, he completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic. He completed an additional fellowship at UC Irvine.
Dr. Katz is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.
He is affiliated with Casper-based Gastroenterology Associates.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Katz is an avid astronomer.
