GI leader to know: Dr. Katie Farah of the McCandless Endoscopy Center

 

Katie Farah, MD, is the director of the McCandless (Pa.) Endoscopy Center.

Dr. Farah also serves as the chief quality officer of the Gastroenterology Allegheny (Pa.) Health Network.

She is an assistant professor of medicine at the Philadelphia-based Temple University School of Medicine.

Dr. Farah received her medical degree from the Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University School of Medicine.

She completed her residency and fellowship at the Pittsburgh-based Western Pennsylvania Hospital.
