GI leader to know: Dr. Joseph Hacker III of Delaware Gastroenterology Associates

Joseph F. Hacker III, MD, is a gastroenterologist at Newark-based Delaware Gastroenterology Associates.

Dr. Hacker joined Delaware Gastroenterology Associates in 1988 after serving as a physician in the U.S. Navy.

He received his medical degree from the Philadelphia-based Hahnemann Medical College.

Dr. Hacker completed his residency and fellowship at the Bethesda, Md.-based Naval Hospital.

He is board-certified in gastroenterology.
