GI leader to know: Dr. John Fang of the University of Utah Hospital

John Fang, MD, is a medical professor and gastroenterology division chief at the Salt Lake City-based University of Utah Hospital and Huntsman Cancer Institute.

Dr. Fang also serves as the University of Utah Hospital Division of Gastroenterology’s clinical director.

He is the University of Utah Hospital’s endoscopy medical director and specializes in therapeutic endoscopy.

Dr. Fang is an American College of Gastroenterology Publications Committee and American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Public Relations Committee member.

Additionally, Dr. Fang serves on the University of Utah Medical Group’s Clinical Operations Committee.
