Before joining the health system in 2017, Dr. Scheiman practiced within University of Michigan-Ann Arbor’s division of gastroenterology, where he directed the advanced endoscopy training program.
Dr. Scheiman has authored more than 250 scientific publications and led the American Gastroenterological Association review of the diagnosis and management of pancreatic cystic lesions that is the basis for current clinical guidelines.
He earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan and completed his residency and fellowship at University of Michigan-affiliated hospitals.
