GI leader to know: Dr. J. Scott Buckley of Indy Gastro

J. Scott Buckley is a gastroenterologist at Indianapolis’ Indy Gastro and the medical director of the Franciscan Health endoscopy center, also in Indianapolis.

Dr. Buckley also serves as the director of the Indianapolis Gastroenterology Research Foundation.

His career began when he earned his medical degree from West Lafayette, Ind.-based Purdue University. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Indianapolis’ Indiana University Medical Center.

Dr. Buckley’s peers named him a top doctor every year since 2012 to 2015.

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys golf and spending time with his family.
