GI leader to know: Dr. Giancarlo Mercogliano of Mainline Health

Giancarlo Mercogliano, MD, is the chief of gastroenterology at Philadelphia-based Main Line Health System.

For 14 years, Dr. Mercogliano was director of the gastroenterology fellowship program at Wynnewood, Pa.-based Lankenau Medical Center. He is also an associate clinical professor of medicine for Jefferson University Medical School.

Dr. Mercogliano completed his residency and fellowship at Lankenau Medical Center and remained on staff afterward.
