AGA, NACCME develop 3 regional educational programs about IBD: 3 notes

American Gastroenterological Association Institute and North American Center for Continuing Medical Education have developed an educational presentation about inflammatory bowel disease, titled “Advancing IBD Practice in Our Communities.”

The presentation will debut at three regional dinner events.

Here’s what you need to know:

1. Raymond Cross, MD, and Millie D. Long, MD, will present at the three programs.

2. The presentation focuses on clinical practice, including a discussion of symptom progression, postoperative care management and repeat colonoscopy.

3. The first program in New York will take place Nov. 29, 2016; the second program in Chicago will take place Dec. 13, 2016, and the third program in Houston will take place Jan. 18, 2017.

This series of events is funded through an educational grant from Takeda Pharmaceuticals U.S.A.
