GI leader to know: Dr. Arthur Berman of Florida Center for Gastroenterology

Arthur Berman, DO, is a gastroenterologist at Largo-based Florida Center for Gastroenterology.

After earning his osteopathic medicine degree from Kirksville (Mo.) College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed an internship and residency at Highland Park, Mich.-based Detroit Osteopathic Hospital Corp. and a fellowship at Philadelphia-based Mercy Catholic Hospital.

Dr. Berman is board certified in internal medicine and gastroenterology.

He received several honors throughout his career, including being named the American Association of Physician Specialists’ Physician of the Year.

Dr. Berman is an American Association of Internal Medicine fellow.
