Georgia Regents Health Plans $10M Digestive Health Center

Georgia Regents Health System in Augusta plans to open a $10 million Digestive Health Center, according to a report by The Augusta Chronicle.

The health system has secured a certificate of need from the state but must get approval from the University System of Georgia’s Board of Regents.

The center will be home to specialists in neurogastroenterology, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease and gastrointestinal oncology.
