Gastroenterologist to know: Dr. Paul Lebovitz of Allegheny Health Network

Paul J. Lebovitz, MD, is a gastroenterologist with Allegheny (Pa.) Health Network. He serves as vice chair of the department of medicine for Allegheny Health Network and also works as an associate professor at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia.

Dr. Lebovitz’s clinical interests include celiac disease, Crohn’s disease, digestive conditions, gastroenterology and irritable bowel syndrome. He recently received the Rosenthal Award for Patient Support and Care for his volunteer service at the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America.

Dr. Lebovitz earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York City, and completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System in Philadelphia. He also completed a fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
