Gastroenterologist to know: Dr. John Leung of Tufts Medical Center

John Leung, MD, is the director of the Food Allergy Center at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. He also serves as co-director of the Food Allergy Center at Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.

Dr. Leung’s clinical interests include gastrointestinal disorders, food allergy, food intolerance, anaphylaxis and eczema, among others. He has co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed manuscripts, scientific abstracts, book chapters and online tutorials.

Dr. Leung earned his medical degree from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor and completed his residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City. He underwent a gastroenterology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center.
