He will serve in the organization’s gastroenterology department.
Dr. Bakken received his MD from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. He then completed a residency in internal medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and completed fellowships in gastroenterology and advanced endoscopy at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education in Rochester, Minn.
