Gastroenterologist joins UR Medicine Thompson Health

Suri Karthikeyan, MD, a gastroenterologist with over 25 years of experience, has joined UR Medicine Thompson Health in Canandaigua, N.Y., according to the Finger Lakes Times.

Dr. Karthikeyan will practice at the internal medicine department at the Canandaigua Medical Group, which is affiliated with F.F. Thompson Hospital in Canandaigua Medical Group. Clinically, Dr. Karthikeyan treats inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome, cirrhosis and Crohn’s disease.

Previously, Dr. Karthikeyan practiced in London, Conn., and in Brockport, N.Y., before joining Rochester Regional Health in New York.
