Gastroenterologist Dr. Yasser Saloum joins Florida Hospital Physician Group: 5 points

Florida Hospital Physician Group welcomed Yasser Saloum, MD, to its team.

Here are five points:

1. Dr. Saloum is a board-certified gastroenterologist, joining Florida Hospital Digestive Care Center in Tampa.

2. Specializing in general gastroenterology, hepatology and diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy, Dr. Saloum focuses on acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s disease, autoimmune and viral hepatitis.

3. He joins Michael Harris, MD, and Arthi Sanjeevi, MD, in the digestive care practice.

4. After receiving his medical degree from Damascus University School of Medicine, Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Saloum completed an internship and internal medicine residency at St. Luke’s Hospital and St. Louis Regional Medical Center.

5. He then completed a gastroenterology and hepatology fellowship at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
