1. Dr. Chokshi was selected because of a variety of factors including his educational background, peer reviews and the recognitions and accomplishments he has earned.

2. He began his career after earning his degree from New York University. He completed an internship and residency at the Albert Einstein Montefiore Medical Center in New York. He then had a fellowship at the MD Anderson Cancer Center at the University of Texas, in Houston.

3. Dr. Chokshi has been in practice for the last 16 years.

4. He is a member of several professional societies including the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterology Association.
